"It would be curious to know what leads a man to become a stationer rather than a baker."

HONORE DE BALZAC - FRENCH NOVELIST AND PLAYWRIGHT

Gather.ly in partnership with Debenhams presents:

The Art of Interpretation

The creative process is by no means an exact formula, however there seems to be some common themes... regardless of the medium.

What happens when we remove the boundaries normally associated with client work?

Gather.ly did just that. We gave 5 talented illustrators one sentence each to interpret in any way they wished.

We will be showing a short film by Chris Turner based on the theme “The Art of Interpretation”, giving each of the 5 illustrators the opportunity to share some insight into the stories behind their work.

Get yourselves there from 07:30pm on Wednesday May 14th and we're showing work by Jean Jullien, Charlotte Posner, Natalie Lines, Edward Carvalho Monaghan and Eleanor Rose come down and have a beer and feel inspired.
